The processes used in my work
include blowing, fusing, cutting, and assembling glass
and incorporating them with cut, shaped, and welded
steel. The metal surface finish includes brushing,
grinding, and/or natural oxidation.
Getting involved with the arts is
relatively a new adventure for me. In the last ten years
I have been on a path of self-discovery searching for a
deeper meaning in life. The greatest realization during
this period was that the source of meaning and
ultimately happiness in life originates from within.
This enabled me to view the mystery of life with a new
perspective and freed my creativity to find its own
path.
My work in glass and metal
sculpture is a reflection of my inner joy of being alive
and being present. My sculptures represent nature at its
elemental levels where wind, water, fire, and earth
gather every day for the dance of life. The underlying
goal in my design is elegance where simplicity and style
intertwine.
